Grizzlies in Glacier

We encountered this mother grizzly and her two yearling cubs along a trail in Glacier National Park, Montana. A group of hikers moved off the trail and the bears passed peacefully. Some important things to note: One, these photos were shot with a 400mm lens; two, none of the hikers approached the bears and we got out of their way as quickly as we could; and three, no one should ever hike in Glacier without bear spray. You never know what's around the next corner.

The Roman centurion in Jerash, Jordan, would have been more impressive
had we not been able to see his gym shorts from behind.
